The Garden Route is one of South Africa’s most popular road trips. This majestic route will seduce you and leave you in awe with its ancient forests, beautiful beaches, and Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma ranges. Knysna Elephant Park

The only place you will see elephants along the Garden Route is a sanctuary. A place that used to be home to thousands of freely roaming elephants is now home to less than a hundred located in sanctuaries. Be sure to go check out Knysna Elephant Park to see their gentle giants.

Surfing in Jeffreys Bay

\n

Technically a little bit after the garden route into Eastern Cape, surfing in Jeffrey’s Bay is still a must. Famous for being one of the best surfing beaches in the world, this little town is home to large waves that can run up to 800m. Also infamous for the 2015 incident where Mick Fanning punched a shark in the nose.

Kloofing the Crags

What is kloofing? Well, it’s just swimming, abseiling, zip lines, jumping from cliffs, and hiking all in one! The Crags offer a perfect spot for this and Africanyon will show you what kloofing is all about.

Cango Caves

About 90km north of Mossel Bay is a little town Outdshoorn that is home to the Cango Caves. Located at the foot of the Swartberg range, these limestone caves have about 1/4 of a mile you can explore.

Bungee off Bloukrans Bridge

The third highest bungee off the highest commercial bridge is the Bloukrans Bungee. This is the absolutely one must do for any thrill seeker. You can set up an appointment to jump off Bloukrans Bridge with Face Adrenaline.
